AeroComp; For minimizing external wind influences

Ensuring a constant air flow at the level of the animals is only possible if external wind influences are minimized. The AeroComp, developed by Stienen BE, offers the perfect solution by tackling the influence of the air outside the house, while at the same time ensuring sufficient ventilation. Wind that blows into the house on one side of the house creates a pressure difference that disrupts the ventilation pattern in the house. If pressure differences occur, the compensation flap on the wind side will close to ensure that the pressure difference and the air distribution over the inlet valves stay the same on both sides of the house. In turbulent weather, the total pressure over the house is increased further to, as much as possible, compensate for any pressure variations.
The use of flaps with a sharks’ teeth profile and the accuracy of corresponding measuring and control equipment enable optimum pressure control in the house.
